She was born October 2, 1948 in Lonoke, Arkansas. Connie was a dog groomer and a member of Old Union Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny Wesley Burris and Odean Burris; husband, Ronald Dwayne “Chip” Tarvin; brother, Timothy Leon Burris and a sister, Shirley Jane Bush, and a niece, Kimberly Ann Burris.She is survived by two sons, James Paul Tarvin of North Little Rock and Olen Ray Patterson of Benton; daughter, Jennifer Peterson of Romance; brother, Johnny (Dale) Burris of North Little Rock; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.Funeral services were held Friday, April 13 at Ashby Funeral Home with burial at Pipkin Cemetery.
